DA: Rockland County health aide held senior at knifepoint, extorted him for nearly $19K

A former home health aide has been convicted of extorting a senior man for nearly $19,000 in Rockland County.

The District Attorney says 60-year-old Delores Anderson held the victim at knifepoint in Pearl River and demanded that he write her personal checks.

The Bronx woman was convicted of five counts of grand larceny in the second degree and is expected to be sentenced in August.
