A Wallkill man has been sentenced to 18 years in prison in a fatal road rage stabbing that happened last year, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.

Horace Duke, 23, was convicted of manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon after police say he was involved in a car accident with Joel Paddy, 74, of Wallkill.

Police say the two got into an argument, which ended with Duke stabbing Lady once in the chest with a kitchen knife.

Duke was also sentenced to five years’ probation.
