When he was was 35 years old, Darryl "DMC" McDaniels found out that he was adopted and had been a foster kid.

Darryl started The Felix Organization to enrich the lives of kids in foster care.

“Every child deserves the right to have the opportunity to become the people they were put here to be," he says.

This Sunday, you can help Darryl help many children at Walk this Way for Kids in Foster Care, a 5K starting at Hudson River Park in Manhattan.

May is National Foster Care Month.
