Delta Airlines is stopping flights between Westchester County Airport and Logan International in Boston this fall.
An airline spokesperson says the route will no longer be available as of Sept. 1, just 11 months after it started.
Delta officials say the move allows them to increase the number of flights from Westchester County to Atlanta and Detroit.
"I think it's going to make it difficult for a lot of passengers being that a lot of people travel there for work. It's easy for them to come here and get a quick flight over there, back and forth. They'd rather be able to fly there in 40 minutes than rent a car and have to drive a couple hours. It's going to inconvenience their day for sure," says Mario Decarlo, Delta supervisor.
A county spokesperson says it's common for airlines to change schedules based on need.
Just last week, United Airlines announced it will stop flights from Westchester County Airport starting on June 30.
