The Department of Motor Vehicles has begun REAL ID Thursdays ahead of the May 7 deadline.
Local DMV offices and others statewide have added hours and increased the number of appointments for people to get their REAL or Enhanced IDs.
After the deadline, anyone flying within the U.S. will need a REAL or Enhanced ID, a passport or another form of federally compliant identification to board a plane.
People are encouraged to come to the offices in person. Those interested can only make the appointment online.
The offices will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. every Thursday.
