The state Department of Transportation is seeking input from truck drivers on potential locations to add freight parking facilities along Interstate 84.

The DOT is considering locations in the areas of Route 9, Fishkill, East Fishkill, and the Route 747 interchange in Newburgh.

Truckers can provide feedback in two ways via the I-84 Freight Parking website.

• Parking Survey: This survey asks drivers about their travel and parking preferences along I-84 between Middletown and Fishkill.

• Mapping Activity: The mapping tool allows users to add markers to share thoughts and concerns about specific areas of the project.

The DOT is accepting feedback until June 28.
