A pole, wires, and branches crashed down on Mamaroneck Avenue early Friday morning, closing a section of the roadway on the border of White Plains and Harrison.

Mamaroneck Avenue is closed between Union Avenue and Purdy Avenue.

The incident also forced the closure of the northbound Hutchinson River Parkway ramp at Exit 13A/B at Mamaroneck Avenue.

Westchester County Police say the closure involves only the northbound Exit 13 ramp and that all northbound lanes of the Hutchinson River Parkway remain open.

Con Edison crews are on the scene to make repairs.
