Fifteen organizations came together in Westchester to celebrate the annual Kugelfest this weekend.
In Asheknaziu Jewish cooking, Kugel is a baked casserole dish most commonly made from egg noodles or potato.
Each organization brought their own kugel expertise and had the opportunity to provide samples for the community to enjoy.
"The JCC Mid-Westchester is really special in that we welcome people of all backgrounds to our community center on the borderline of New Rochelle and Scarsdale. And we're so excited to open our doors to hundreds of people throughout lower Westchester," says Elise Dowel, JCC Mid-Westchester.
The tasting was part of "Day at the J', where families from all over the Hudson Valley had the opportunity to explore their facilities and enjoy free fun activities.
Other events at the fest included gymnastics, face painting, and arts and crafts.
