As autumn approaches in the Hudson Valley, Dr. Davies Farm in Congers stands as a cherished seasonal destination.
Established in 1891, the farm, now under the stewardship of descendants of pioneering female doctor Dr. Lucy Virginia Meriwether, boasts ties to Meriwether Lewis of the Lewis and Clark expedition.
Visitors can delight in apple picking amid a sprawling orchard featuring diverse apple varieties. Additionally, pumpkins are available for picking, complemented by an engaging corn maze across the farm's 65 acres.
The recently inaugurated Red Barn Cidery provides an inviting setting for autumnal gatherings.
