Dr. Fauci serenaded for his 80th birthday; spends birthday, Christmas without his daughters
Dr. Anthony Fauci had a nice little surprise for his birthday.
EMS workers serenaded Dr. Fauci as he left work Wednesday.
He turned 80 on Thursday.
Any other year, Dr. Fauci says he would be celebrating his big day and Christmas with his family.
But this year, he is taking his own advice and staying home.
"I have three daughters, ranging in age from late 20s to early 30s. This is the first holiday season of Christmas and my birthday that I have not spent with my daughters since they were born," said Fauci.
Dr. Fauci has spent the past 52 years working for the U.S. government as a health specialist.
