A driver suffered minor injuries after losing control of their vehicle and crashing into a Yonkers home Sunday afternoon.
It happened on Rossiter Avenue around 4 p.m.
Firefighters installed wooden supports to prevent further damage to the house.
"[We had] a minivan, coming off the exit here, southbound, couldn't negotiate the turn, and went over the curb, over this fence and struck the corner of the building... So, as a precautionary measure, we're securing both sides," said Yonkers Fire Department Chief Charles Mulcahey.
It was not immediately clear whether the driver of the vehicle would face any charges.
