There was more pomp and circumstance in Dutchess County Friday as college students graduated in person.
Some Dutchess Community College graduates are seeing their classmates for the first time since the college moved to mainly remote learning because of COVID-19.

While many institutions are still going virtual, DCC held two, socially distant, in-person graduations, giving students in both the class of 2021 and 2020 their chance to walk and fist-bump acting President Ellen Gambino.

"These students have worked really hard to get here under really trying circumstances so we're just so proud of them," said Gambino.
The ceremony has held at Dutchess Stadium for the first time.
With COVID-19 safety in mind, only students, staff and professors were able to attend.

Family and friends got to watch it all online.
