A home was destroyed in a massive fire on Old Farm Road in Pawling on Tuesday.

Officials say the fire was reported around 7:45 p.m., initially reported as smoke coming from the residence. When firefighters arrived, they found flames emerging from the roof and additional firefighting crews were called to assist.

There were no injuries reported.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, but the Pawling fire chief has indicated that it does not appear to be suspicious.
