A Dutchess County substitute teacher has been charged with inappropriate sexual contact with a student.
The Dutchess County Sheriff's Department arrested Angela Hill last Thursday.
She's a 23-year-old former substitute at Pawling Middle School.
The sheriff's office started investigating last month after someone alerted deputies.
They say the alleged sexual contact happened on school grounds.
Hill faces charges of endangering the welfare of a child and sexual abuse.
The school district says Hill hasn't been on campus since Feb. 16 and doesn't work for the district anymore.
She's due in Pawling Town Court on Thursday.
