yesterdayA Dutchess County teen was killed in a crash in the Town of Washington.
Police say Madison Lynch-Dingee was speeding and tried to pass another car near North Shanks Road just before 3 p.m. Tuesday.
They say the driver of the other vehicle didn't realize that Lynch-Dingee was trying to get around them and went to make a left turn when the two collided.
The 16-year-old then swerved off the road and hit a tree. She died at the scene.
