Aida Miranda, a 63-year-old Fishkill woman, has pleaded guilty to a fatal hit-and-run incident that occurred last October on Merritt Boulevard.
According to the Dutchess County District Attorney, Miranda admitted to hitting a 72-year-old woman with her car and leaving the scene.
The victim succumbed to her injuries at an area hospital.
Miranda is expected to be sentenced to up to four years in prison for her role in the fatal hit-and-run.
