A couple from Dutchess are being hailed heroes for helping save the lives of four children after they fell into an icy pond in Hyde Park on Sunday.
Roosevelt Fire District Member Wendy Burns and her husband, Donny, were passing by, when they noticed the kids in the water.
They immediately pulled over and sprang into action – pulling the girl to safety and performing CPR to revive her.
Two children were rushed to the hospital, the others were released to their parents.
