A Rockland school district is working to get its transportation on the right track.
The East Ramapo Central School District launched a "transportation hotline" Wednesday to communicate updates and answer questions at 845-577-6498.
It comes after public and private school parents spoke out about bus problems.
At a school board meeting earlier this week, it was revealed by state-appointed monitor Bruce Springer that the state Attorney General's Office is now investigating the bus companies that canceled their contracts.
New and emergency transportation contracts that total more than $4.2 million were approved during that meeting, according to online agenda documents.
A spokesperson for the New York state Education Department tells News 12 that it is monitoring the situation.
