More than 1,000 people were receiving the Pfizer coronavirus vaccines at SUNY Orange in Newburgh Friday in a joint effort between the college and St. Luke's Hospital.
Orange County officials are trying to vaccinate people in one of the few yellow zones left in the state.
"It was easy-peasy, simple," said William Worford of Middletown. "And I'm just grateful that I was able to get it so soon."
Orange County is holding two vaccination clinics each week.
