Elmsford police officer Douglas Ramirez has been arrested and charged with grand larceny.

The Westchester District Attorney's Office reported that Ramirez, who also serves as a school resource officer, was issued a desk appearance ticket.

He is scheduled for arraignment in village court on Sept. 13.
