Live audiences were welcomed back Friday night at a Rockland County theater that was closed for 18 months during the pandemic.
The historic Elmwood Playhouse, now in its 74th season, is officially open for business again.
The Nyack theater does things a little differently since the pandemic began. There are digital playbills, and all staffers and actors must be vaccinated. Theatergoers are also asked to wear masks.
Additionally, the 99-seat theater is limited to 33 seats.
