Fire officials say they responded to a partial roof and exterior wall collapse in Yonkers.
Crews say bricks came loose off of an unoccupied condemned building on Elm Street and fell into a courtyard next door.
Yonkers building inspector supervisorJoseph Haduck says the structure at 93 and 95 Elm St. had previously been condemned due to roof leaks and concerns about buckling along the facade. Work was being performed on the roof when the bricks became loose and fell.
The building next door, 91 Elm St., was evacuated as a precaution while crews determined if there was any damage to the apartment building.
No injuries were reported.
ConEd was on scene working to ensure electricity and power were turned off for the condemned building.
Officials say the building will eventually be turned over to its owner and they'll have to secure more permits in order to continue doing work on the building.
