There are several events commemorating the 20th anniversary of 9/11 in Westchester and the Hudson Valley.
In Westchester County, the first of two events in Yonkers starts at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Hudson River waterfront. The second starts at 7:30 p.m. at Conor Park on McLean Avenue.
In Dutchess County, a remembrance ceremony will be held 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Sergeant Mark C. Palmateer 9/11 Memorial Park in the town of Wappinger.
At the same time, a name-reading service in Rockland County at the Haverstraw Bay County Park.
The event will also be livestreamed on the Rockland County Facebook and YouTube pages.
For those in Orange County, a memorial service will be held at Warwick Veterans Memorial Park in Warwick that will start at 5 p.m.
