Last week, News 12 told you about the adorable future service dog joining the Mets.
Now - that pup officially has a name.
The winning name for the Mets' new teammate - is Seaver!
He's named after the Hall of Fame pitcher Tom Seaver - who played 12 seasons for the Mets.
Other names that were in the running were Scout and Homer.
