A 25-year-old New York man was killed Sunday afternoon in a crash on State Highway 284 in Wantage Township, Sussex County.

According to state officials, Andrew Slagle of Westtown, was driving north in a Chevy passenger van when he veered off the road, struck several trees and flipped the vehicle.

Slagle died at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
