A father and son pleaded guilty in connection to a major drug trafficking case in Port Jervis.
Richard McInturff, 31, pleaded guilty in Orange County Court to operating as a major drug trafficker and escape in the first-degree.
The charges are for allegedly possessing more than $75,000 worth of heroin and fentanyl with intent to sell.
McInturff's father Larry pleaded guilty to tampering with physical evidence.
Port Jervis City Police and the Orange County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at McInturff's residence in March 2021 and recovered over 7,000 packets of suspected heroin.
The men will be sentenced on Sept. 22.
