One of the Bronx fathers who lost his family in the Woodycrest Avenue fire is hoping he will be able to return to the United States after burying his family in Mali.Mamadou Soumare, who has been living in the Bronx illegally, lost his wife and four children in the blaze. Now, he is seeking the paperwork necessary to be able to return after burying them in Africa. Soumare is working with Congressman Jose Serrano's (D-16th District) office to clear his way with immigration on humanitarian grounds. Fire officials said the blaze on Woodycrest Ave. was sparked by an overloaded space heater and quickly spread through the home.
