The Food and Drug Administration is investigating cinnamon apple pouches after finding an alarming amount of lead in them.
The agency says tests of cinnamon samples found lead levels 2,000 times higher than the standard.
The samples came from an inspection of a facility in Ecuador linked to contaminated pouches which are under recall in the United States.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found more than 120 kids got sick.
Anyone who may have eaten it is being urged to get their blood tested for lead.
