Fire crews responded at 6:08 a.m. Sunday to a fire in a vacant six-story Manhattan building that extended across multiple floors, according to the FDNY.
FDNY officials said during a public information briefing that the blaze was a three-alarm fire at Box 0603, with about 192 firefighters and EMS personnel on the scene.
The fire was placed under control about two hours after the initial call.
FDNY reported that two firefighters had minor injuries.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
