Police in Middletown say they are questioning a suspect Friday in the murder of a 48-year-old woman, but are releasing few details about the case.

Police say they received reports a man killed the victim inside her apartment Thursday around 5:30 p.m. and that the suspect then sped away in a black pickup truck. The woman?s neighbors say she and her boyfriend had been fighting and that it was he who stabbed her.

The woman apparently lived with a young boy who may be either her son or grandson. Police say no one else was home when she was killed.

Police are set to release more details Friday afternoon.
