Multiple fire departments responded to a fire Sunday at the Prime Storage facility on Route 9 in Wappingers Falls.

The flames were extinguished by firefighters, but there is not yet any word on the cause or information on injuries.

Wappingers Falls Supervisor Joseph Cavaccini says that the incident underscores the critical need for safety measures when it comes to the type of content kept in storage facilities.
