The new L.L. Bean store in the Town of Ulster caught fire Monday morning, according to Ulster Hose Company 5.
The fire was reported to be outside the building on Ulster Avenue, stretching to the building's loading dock area.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze before it reached the interior of the building. No injuries have been reported.
It is unclear whether the fire will impact the store's grand opening celebration, which is scheduled for Friday, May 10, and Saturday, May 11.
