Firefighters across the state are mourning one of their own.

Greenville Fire District Firefighter Vito Sciavillo passed away on Tuesday.

A gathering of family and friends to remember Vito's life will be held on Saturday.

Sciavillo was also a longtime firefighter for the Catskill Fire Department

He was 45.
