First responders save 6-month-old from hot locked car in Spring Valley

An emergency services organization in Rockland County is being recognized for saving a baby from a locked car.
The Chaverim Patrol Unit and volunteers responded to Homer Lee Avenue in Spring Valley on Sunday.           
The patrol unit immediately called for help when they discovered the situation.   
        
Three volunteers showed up with special equipment to unlock the car and get the 6-month-old out of the car.           
We're told the child was overheated - but in stable condition.         
  
Paramedics took the baby to the hospital for evaluation.
