Testimony of first responders continued Friday in the ?fragging? of a U.S. soldier accused of killing two of his superior officers, both Hudson Valleys residents.

Staff Sgt. Alberto Martinez faces murder charges for allegedly killing 1st Lt. Lou Allen and Capt. Phil Esposito with a Claymore mine and grenades in 2005 while in Iraq.

During questioning Friday, witnesses told prosecutors Martinez resented Esposito. According to one testimony, Martinez even allegedly said he wished Esposito would die while serving overseas. If convicted, Martinez faces the death penalty.

Laurene Sandstrom, Allen?s sister, says hearing the graphic details described in the course of the trial is taking a toll on her family.

?I had nightmares all night, my sister didn't sleep all night,? she says. ?We are kind of miserable.?

Sandstrom says her parents will be taking a break from the trial, which is taking place in Fort Bragg, to attend a Chester High School homecoming parade dedicated to her brother Saturday.
