Flags will be at half-staff in the Village of Elmsford until Tuesday in honor of Angel Gauthier.
Gauthier was a volunteer Elmsford police constable and volunteer Elmsford firefighter for many years.
There will be a wake for Angel Monday at Hawthorne Funeral Home from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
His body will be escorted through the village Tuesday from roughly 1:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. on his way to the cemetery - that is private just for his family.
Gauthier was a husband and father.
His obituary says he loved to travel, ran the New York City Marathon three times and was a Rotary Club member.
