An investigation is now underway after a fast-moving fire destroyed a building in Chappaqua Thursday night.
Crews arrived at the building on Memorial Drive and found flames shooting out of the roof. It's the same building that a fire tore through last September.
Fire officials say the building was vacant when the fire started around 8:30 p.m.
Hairstylist Paige Stelzl works in a salon a few shops down from where the fire was.
"I don't know what's going on," says Stelzl. "It's scary that it is the same building in the last six months."
The latest fire comes less than two weeks after another fire ripped through a garage on nearby King Street.
Kelsey Nohavicka lives in the neighborhood and works at a day care center. She is worried about what's happening.
"It's scary," says Nohavicka. "I work at a school and want to make sure that nothing is going to happen to them, like my students and the staff."
Nohavicka worries that the fires may be arson.
