The Flip Circus is kicking off its national tour in Yonkers at the Cross County Center on Friday.

News 12 talked with the ringmaster about what the show has in store.

People from all over the Hudson Valley filled the red and white tent for a night of tricks and flips.

Jan Vazquez, the ringmaster, says this cast features tons of talent, including acrobats, gymnasts, jugglers and clowns.

"Imagine a board and underneath a cylinder. So, I stand on top of the board, and I have to balance that on top of the table like that and I work this act with my sister so while I'm balancing, she goes on my shoulders," says Vazquez.

The performers come from all around the world.

"We have our people from Brazil, from Ukraine, from Finland, from Mexico," says Vazquez. "For me, performing is everything. It's a lot of adrenaline," says Vazquez.

Families, they’re thrilled to take their kids to the circus.

“I think the last time was maybe like two years ago so we’re just super excited that they’re back," says Brenda Medina, a Yonkers resident.

The Flip Circus will be at the Cross County Center until March 18.
