While no Bronx-born players appear to have a chance this year, a collegiate athlete from the borough may have a chance at making it to the pros.Fordham?s Marcus Taylor is waiting to find out if an NFL team will select him when the NFL holds its draft on Saturday and Sunday. Taylor, a 6?1? linebacker, led the Patriot league in forced fumbles and fumble recoveries this year on his way to being awarded the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year. So far Taylor, who is a native of Maryland, has already had a tryout with the Washington Redskins.The 2006 draft saw Bronx native Willie Conlon?s selection by the Pittsburg Steelers in the fourth round.
