Fordham University players are hitting the gridiron to practice with a new coaching staff leading the way.
The Rams, which have suffered through two rough seasons, believe the new head coach and new players will give the team direction. Joe Evans, who was an athlete at Fordham Prep High School, says he's glad to play on the college level. Evans says he picked Fordham University over other schools so he could stay close to home.
The 2006 season starts in less than a month.
