Nearly 30 former faculty and staff members of the now-closed Concordia College have reached an out-of-court settlement with the Bronxville-based school.
The 27 former employees had filed a lawsuit last year seeking over $5 million in severance payments.
Robert Bernstein, an attorney for the group, confirmed the settlement but said the amount will remain confidential.
Bernstein tells News12 he's relieved his clients will get a severance payment they sorely need since they have been without a job since last June, when the college closed.
He also thanked the attorney general's office for providing assistance to get his clients claims heard and resolved.
