A beloved football coach from Pearl River passed away early Saturday morning.

Loved ones shared the news on a GoFundMe page, which was created after Rob Gallagher suffered a massive heart attack.

It says the funds were initially raised to support his wife and three children with meals and medical and commuting expenses.

Since his passing, it seems people are now contributing toward funeral expenses.

According to the page, the Gallaghers are loved by many in both Pearl River and South Orangetown, where Rob coached at one time.
