Christopher Borsari, a former superintendent, is set to become the interim principal of Hommocks Middle School starting Nov. 1.
The Mamaroneck Union Free School District Board of Education has appointed him to serve for the remainder of the school year. This decision follows Borsari's retirement in June of this year.
Borsari began his career as a teacher at Byram Hills High School and later ascended to the position of assistant principal. He subsequently served as the superintendent of the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns for seven years.
Borsari will take over the role of principal from Albert Sackey, who is moving to Bridgeport, Connecticut for a new position.
