A former Yonkers teacher has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for attempting to lure a student into a sexual relationship.
Prosecutors say 36-year-old Sandy Carazas-Pinez admitted to sending explicit video calls and text messages to the victim over the course of three months.
She taught at Biondi High School, a program for students with special behavioral and emotional needs.
In addition to her prison sentence, Carazas-Pinez will also face five years of supervised release.
