More than 130 people attended a sold-out pocketbook bingo event at the Antonio Meucci Lodge in White Plains on Thursday night.

It was a fundraiser to benefit the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, or PANCAN.

The night was in honor of 63-year-old Roseann LoGuidice.

The Croton-On-Hudson woman recently lost her year-long battle with the disease after being diagnosed with Stage 4 last May.

"She was a burst of energy. Any room she went into. Everyone knew that Ro was here. She was very full of life," said Raquel Lara, LoGuidice's daughter. "She loved being around people. She liked events. She loved events like this today."

There was even a seat with a bingo card for her honor because everyone hoped she would be there with them.

It was organized by Raquel and the Ashley Lauren Beauty Lounge, a salon where LoGuidice was a client.

"Everyone's laughing, having a good time. Just remembering Ro, in the best way we know how," said Ashley DiMatteo, owner of the Ashley Lauren Beauty Lounge.

DiMatteo tells News 12 they hope to raise $10,000.

LoGuidice's family, friends, even the health care workers who were there during her battle, were there at the event.

The American Cancer Society says pancreatic cancer accounts for about 7% of all cancer deaths.
