Future Talent Basketball League plays in game to stop violence and bullying

Bronx kids from the Future Talent Basketball League tried to stop violence and bullying one hook shot at a time.
Kids aged six to 16 years old competed in a tournament at 3470 Seymore Ave. to show their support.
Coaches say the kids were required to write essays on health, one of the many topics covered by the league.
This year, about 1,000 essays were submitted.
Parents say the league not only teaches about the sport, but also aims to stop violence in schools.
An award ceremony for the teams took place after the tournament.
