Gas prices are rising sharply following U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iran.
AAA says the average price for a gallon jumped 11 cents from Monday to Tuesday. It marks the biggest single‑day surge since Hurricane Katrina 20 years ago.
Westchester now has the highest average price in the state at about $3.20. Rockland is only a few cents behind.
Experts say the longer the fighting continues, the higher prices are expected to climb.
