Getting guns off Bronx and city streets will be the focus of a national summit on illegal guns Tuesday in New York City.

Mayor Bloomberg (R-NY) and Boston Mayor Thomas Menino are hosting the daylong event. Mayors from some of the nation?s largest cities will be in attendance. A panel of experts on gun crimes will be speaking at the event.

The mayors will also discuss gun laws and how they can work together to enforce them. New York City Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly will also be on hand to discuss getting illegal guns off the streets.
