Golfzon Social has officially opened at the Palisades Mall in West Nyack.

The new 20,000-square-foot business has features such as 22 golf simulators, cornhole, ping pong, shuffle boards and a full bar with food.

Each golf simulator has a floor that moves to mimic how the golf ball would be on a course in real life.

Golfzon Social’s owners say it is a place for everyone to have fun.

"We want to create a social atmosphere where golf isn’t intimidating. We want people to come in, have a really great time, grab a great drink or a bite of some food and also play on some awesome simulators. It's also great for beginners, non-golfers and highly skilled golfers. We'll have leagues as well as $5,000 prize tournaments,” said owner Ben Mackey.

The Palisades Mall has previously faced financial issues and concerns about a possible foreclosure. The owners of Golfzon Social say they are not worried and are excited to welcome customers to their business.

Golfzon Social is open Tuesday to Sunday. Each golf bay is rented out by hour.
