Rockland County Executive Scott Vanderhoef began his fifth term in office just days ago, but already Republican leaders are knocking on his door.
News 12 Hudson Valley reported Wednesday that Vanderhoef is considering a run for state comptroller, but as it turns out, it is not the only option on the table.
"I've had inquiries about every job except lieutenant governor, and I think that's because I did that already," Vanderhoef says, referring to his 2006 run.
Vanderhoef says he is keeping his options open, but stresses that he has not been officially approached about any position by the state party chairman.
